The chef highly recommends that you enjoy our Dégustation Style Menu by sharing several dishes together, course by course. This French-Japanese style of dining involves sampling many items in one sitting, allowing diners to experience a wider range of flavors compared to the more traditional a la carte style of dining.

Maison Riz prides itself on offering our Omakase Menu. "Omakase" means that you decide the particular ingredients and style of preparation. Based on your preferences, Head Chef Murase will customize a meal to accommodate your specific requests. If some members of your party have a sensitivity or allergy to specific ingredients, the chef will design a menu to accommodate your specific needs. Feel free to set the parameters (ingredients, taste, or style of preparation), and the kitchen staff will respond with a menu that is sure to please. You may additionally specify a per-person price, and the chef will create a Kaiseki-style meal (a traditional formal Japanese Tea Ceremony meal featuring a wide variety of delicacies served in small portions over many courses) that will appeal to both your taste buds and your budget.

Feel free to ask our service staff for assistance and we"ll be happy to guide you. Otherwise, you"re welcome to choose one of the Chef"s Prix Fixe Tasting Menus.

Seeking to deepen his knowledge of French cookery, he then served as chef at the Sante Restaurant of the Fairmont Hotel in Sonoma Valley, California.
